Buffet-in-a-box (treatsure box)

We thought out of the box

Buffet food across different meal slots typically has to be discarded as waste. So we thought, why not create a scheme to sell it, and let consumers enjoy it in one-portion boxes at a single price, with the choice of what they'd like?

The buffet's ending. The boxing begins!

Select and assemble your own box from the buffet spread in the last mile before closing, and help save good food at an unbeatable price!

Two ways it works

Not all buffets are self-service. Every listing in the app shows which model the venue uses.

Self-service buffet-in-a-box

You help to pack the box yourself from the buffet line.

  1. 1Show your order and get your box
  2. 2Walk the buffet line and fill your box
  3. 3Go back to the counter for staff to make sure the box isn't overfilled, so you take what's allowed

Assisted

The restaurant team helps you pack the food into the box according to your selections.

  1. 1Show your order
  2. 2Walk the buffet line with a chef or staff member and tell them your choices
  3. 3Once it's packed reasonably to the brim, the staff will seal the box
